New in Tarz Studio 2.0

Auto-branching

Select the parts of a motif or a word and Tarz Studio joins them into a single continuous path. Travel runs are placed where the top stitching will cover them, so the machine does not stop to trim between petals, leaves or letters.

Animation: a six-petal flower sewn the usual way with five trims, then with auto-branching and no trim at all.

Key points

  • One click on a selection of objects of the same colour
  • Travel runs routed under the satin and fill that cover them
  • Entry and exit points chosen automatically at the closest join
  • Undo or ungroup at any time: the objects stay editable
Auto-branching
1

Fewer trims, cleaner backs

Every trim costs time and leaves thread tails. Branching removes the trims inside a group, which shortens machine time and gives a cleaner reverse side.

2

Hidden travel, not visible jumps

The engine builds a graph of the objects, finds an order that visits each one once and sews the connections first, under the area that will be covered.

3

Made for lettering and motifs

Ideal for joined Arabic words, floral borders, karakou and caftan motifs where dozens of small parts share one thread.
