Buy and sell embroidery fonts

Besides the fonts bundled with Tarz Studio, the store offers embroidery fonts created by digitizers: Arabic calligraphy styles, monogram alphabets, decorative Latin fonts and Tifinagh. Each letter is digitized by hand for clean stitching at the sizes stated by its author.

Buy and install a font

1. On the store, open the Fonts category and choose a font. The page shows the recommended sizes, the characters included and a stitched sample.
2. Buy the font with the usual payment methods.
3. In Tarz Studio, signed in with the same account, the font appears in Text → Font → My fonts after a few seconds. If not, click Refresh purchases.
4. Use it like any other font: type, resize within the recommended range, choose colours.

Purchased fonts are linked to your account: they install on every computer where you sign in, and work offline afterwards.

Sell a font you digitized

1. Digitize the characters in Tarz Studio, then use Text → Font tools → New font from glyphs to assign each object to a character (with joining forms for Arabic: isolated, initial, medial, final).
2. Set the size range in which the font sews well, the spacing and the kerning pairs.
3. Test with the built-in sample texts in Arabic, French and English.
4. Publish it from Designer → New listing → Font on the website (a designer profile is needed, see Sell your designs on the store).

Licence

A purchased font can be used to make and sell embroidered products and designs for your customers. Redistributing the font files themselves is not allowed.
